Graham Creamer Biographypainter from (New Zealand)I was born in the year of the Dragon 1940 during the war time shortages. I have always been interested in painting and now I am retired I have time to paint ideas collected over the last 50 years. My style is oil paint on board 6mm strong and always 600 x 800mm in size. The sealing is with rabbit skin glue then three layers of sanded gesso followed by impasto oil paint and after 6 months a layer varnish. The painting is of the NAIVE school and I rely on good strong ideas to make an impact. All the work is original . In 1884 I spent 5 months in Europe to study all the meusems I couls then 2 months in China (Beijing and Xian) as well as Hong Kong and the Meuseme in Taipai. In Jan 1997 and North Africa for a month in Jan 2000. I have about 30 painting now and I am painting when I have time, to create more. Graham Terrence CREAMER Send the painter email |
