Franz Marc, German painter, he was good abstract animal paintings, he was born on February 8, 1880, in Munich,
Germany
When he was very young, Marc went to Munich Art Academy and learn oil
paintings there, later, he traveled to Paris several times where he had the
opportunities to exchange with some masters, such as Paul Gauguin,Vincent Van Gogh, and
other impressionism painters.
he organized almanac "Der Blaue Reiter" together with Russian painter
Kandinsky in 1911, and they exhibited their works with this almanac. He was a
very important member of the d'Automne which was First German Salon in 1913.
1916, the first World War burst, he joined army on his own will. He died in France,
when he was only 36 years old.
Franz Marc was a pioneer in the abstract art movement, he contributed greatly to
the abstract style color theory.
