my dad has a f m bennitt oil on canvas painting of cardinals sitting round a table listening to someone playing a violin and someone playing a piano cant seem to find anything out about it, my dad says its an original. can anyone help please?

We have a painting signed FM Bennett 1929 it is three gentlemen in a library drinking wine from a decanter, and two are smoking pipes. There is a fire place with a mantle, and over the fireplace is a painting of a man on horseback. It is in oil and has a few spots that have been rubbed. It is completely framed in the back and sides, so you can\'t see the edges of the canves. Has anyone ever heard of this one?

hi bob, i think its called duet, my dads trying to find someone that can value it for him but its prooving quite difficult where to take it to, he keeps trying, i\'ll let you know if he finds anything out about it.\r\n

Sue,\r\nmy grandfather is in posession of the same painting you have described. Like you, I cannot find a single thing about the painting. The back of the painting that we have states the picture is called \'Duet\' however I have found another painting with that name. I thought the internet was supposed to have everything! I have a reproduction on canvas call \"The Coaching Inn\" signed and dated 1929. Is the dating correct? seems to ba alot of works in that one year. Are these reproductions worth any real value?

I have an FM Bennett painting on canvas of 4 gentlemen riders with red jackets and white pants in a dining room. One man is standing in front of a fireplace with a pipe in his hand talking to three men at a table. One man is sipping tea, another with white hair holding a newspaper in his hand and the third looking at the man in front of the fireplace. Can anyone tell me if this is valuable? I cannot see the year and it is in the original frame. I cannot find any info on it. I am from upstate NY. Thank you...

I have the same FM Bennett painting as sheri i brought it yesterday at a car boot for £1.00, the seller said the original painting is hanging in a pub in cornwall somewhere. I am from the midlands England.

I have a FM Bennett painting \"Point of the Story\" about 18\"x14\" 3 gentlemen with wine glasses, one standing 2 sitting. Painting is in very old frame and appears to me to be an original.

I have 2 paintings. One is a host serving a lemon refreshments to two guests who have arrived. The other has the same host in conversation with ale to his two visitors with the dead ducks hanging on the wall. I have called one \"The Arrival\" and the other \"The Departure\". They are oil on canvas. They are in frames. Dated 1929. Signed. 13in. x 17 in. Great art work.

I have a 30 x 24 reproduction of a stagecoach depot with people around a large table inside and a couple off to the right with luggage and thru the opening of the door you can see a stagecoach.
