I\"m an oil painter and Boldini is a consumate artist, reminding me a lot of John Singer Sergeant. Boldini\'s style is fluid and alive and I think he is under-rated because he\'s thought to be a \"bourgeois\" artist. However, he\'s actually an incredible artist and more people should know about him. He may be the best portrait painter ever.
