I dislike Raphael painting, people in his painting is too decorous, I felt repressive when I facing such a painting.

In its repressiveness, there is a kind of liberation. It is all too perfect and harmonious yet its like a still environment before a storm; beneath all that serenity is a huge chaos of rebellion and experimentation, eg La Fornarina. He was conforming to the desires of that time to earn his keep but he also was rebelling in his depiction of religious entities on the landscape of reality and it is dire as well as scandalous if not the general public than to himself. I love his paintings more importantly as they were the relative reference for Waterhouse\'s paintings...

Raphael, Michelangelo and Leonard Da Vinci are the most known Renaissant masters.

His painting makes the peaceful and harmony figures, in his short life, Raphael created 300 pieces art works. He painted a lot of Madonna portraits to meet customer's requirements. his paintings, different from that of Leonard Da vinci, is just like a woman come from a common Italian family, pure, sunny, and pleasant, it's perfect combination of religion and  secular life.
