Vincent Van Gogh was born in 1853 in Groot-Zundert, the Netherlands, he has three sisters and two brothers. Vincent was a peaceful boy, did not show particular interest on art and oil paintings. People know nothing more about his childhood life. In very early years of his career, Van Gogh tried to become an art dealer, he travelled a lot, studied in art galleries, years later, Vincent gave up and decide to become an artist to leave something for mankind.

Van Gogh didn't get any training on art, he had no confidence, he doubted his ability, so did his parents. But Theo, his brother supported him firmly, push Van Gogh forward to become a master of art.

Vincent painted a lot of works about peasant, and peasant life, because he spent a little while with the mining workers in Borinage. And he tried a lot of different subjects and different painting techniques, Sien Hoomik was always his model. After a few setbacks and moves, French painter Millet's painting effect Van Gogh, because Millet used peasants life as majority of subjects.

Van Gogh finally went to Paris, where he got to know a lot well known artists, include Paul Gauguin.

All his greatest, inspiring, and creative paintings were finished during the last 6 years of Van Gogh's life, the mood in his paintings became bright, cheerful, encouraging, the paintings seems try to smoothe the people in bitter world by brilliant songs.

Even though he's one of the most famous artists of all time, Vincent Van Gogh's life was no fairy tale.
